Christys’ new shape Panama delivers an iconic Panama style at a more accessible price. Woven in Ecuador and made in England, it is made from a Grade 1 woven hood with a fabric inner headband. Semi-bleached Panama is available with various ribbon options. Available in sizes M,L, and XL.

A Panama hat is defined by its weave. The finest are produced by hand in Ecuador — the only place in the world where the toquilla straw grows in the conditions required to achieve the pliability and fineness that make a true Panama unmistakable. Christys' SILHOUETTE NAME Panama is woven there, from a GRADE hood, before being shaped and finished in England to the standard the brand has maintained since 1773.

The silhouette is a trilby — a tapered crown with a short, turned-up brim that sits close to the head and travels well. It is a form worn confidently since the early twentieth century, neither seasonal nor self-conscious, and one of the most flattering shapes a Panama can take.
