The wool felt body provides natural warmth and structure while remaining remarkably light on the head across a long day outdoors. The water repellent treatment sits within the felt rather than on its surface, allowing the hat to shed rain without compromising the texture or the hand of the cloth. It does not look like a weatherproof hat. It simply performs like one.
